ESSO, born and raised in Harlem, was an aspiring MLB baseball player. His dream of playing in big leagues was crushed when he was attending Howard University and the baseball team was dropped. He was then introduced to music when his girlfriend showed him around a studio. The rest was history. Check out the video above of him performing his new single, "Heads Will Roll".
