ON THE ROAD: Dr. Dog

Category: ,

Today marks the release of Dr. Dog's new album Shame, Shame! This is the Philadelphia-based band's 5th full-length album. Dr. Dog's sound is true rock and roll with a bluegrass twinge and a heck of a lot of soul. Their past albums have received a lot of critical acclaim and the new one is sure to be a good listen. Their music has evolved through the past decade from a couple college kids singing in a trippy falsetto to a complex, heart-felt, well-rounded, rock band. They are especially fun onstage - which has lately been decorated with a full jungle worth of fake plants and once even a real dog - so try to catch them on their upcoming tour. Tour dates after the jump.

Keep Beating,
Bukowskini
