HOWL: The Inauguration

Consider the mixtapes below a taste of the diverse dopeness of what is to come from Beatniks and Bling.

These mixtapes all blend the works of two single artists in different genres. DJ Moondance strikes twice. Strike one, with the Crash Album, combining the dopeness of Jay Z with the not-so-dopeness of the Dave Matthew's Band. It is nevertheless what I imagine Rick Rubin listens to while relaxing in front of his winter cabin fire place. Strike two comes with Moondance's Shadium Arcadium combining Eminem with none other than the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Next Dj Squeek Boogie is up. On this joint he rewrites history by bringing two greats that unfortunatley never got the chance to work together on one album, J Dilla and Nas on Dillmatic. and yes, it is just what you would expect. Lastly, I had to dust off this classic. Dj Cappel brings two of NYC's greatest together, Blue Eyes meets Bed Stuy: Frank Sinatra vs Notorious BIG.

Keep Beating,
Ginsgood
